Days one-two: London to Vienna by sleeper
Depart St Pancras International by Eurostar for Brussels, onwards to Cologne, for the CityNightLine sleeper to Vienna. You arrive on the morning of day two and enjoy a guided coach tour of this magnificent city. The rest of the day is free.
Day three: Schönbrunn Palace
Today’s optional excursion is to the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, designed to rival Versailles.
Day four: to Prague
Travel to Prague by rail, arriving mid-afternoon. The rest of the day is free to explore.
Day five: Prague
This morning, there is a guided tour of Prague’s main sights, such as the Castle district, Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. The optional afternoon cruise offers a different perspective.
Day six: Konopiste Chateau
Your optional excursion today is to Konopiste Chateau. After visiting the castle, you can enjoy a guided tour of a traditional Czech brewery.
Days seven-eight: Berlin
The high-speed train to Berlin arrives mid-afternoon, where you have a guided tour. Day eight is free to explore, perhaps visiting the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag or the Checkpoint Charlie Museum.
Day nine: Potsdam
Today’s optional excursion is to Potsdam, famed for its majestic palaces.
Day ten: Berlin to London
Depart Berlin for Cologne, and on to Brussels, for the Eurostar service to London.
