Day One

Today we visit the New Forest, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Marvel at the magnificent heath and forest landscape as we journey towards beautiful Lyndhurst - knows as the 'capital' of the New Forest. Explore the historic town, and perhaps relax in one of its many charming pubs and tea-rooms, before we continue to our hotel, arriving in time for dinner.

Day Two

From stump-tailed macaques to chimpanzees, all of the monkeys at the Rescue Centre, which we'll visit today, can enjoy the company of their own kind in a safe and natural environment. Rehabilitated by a devoted team, these beautiful animals are used to being the centre of attention, having starred in the hugely successful 'Monkey Life' TV series.

Enjoy the monkey antics as you wander through the imaginatively laid-out enclosures - each dedicated to a different species. Find out some interesting monkey facts on one of the fascinating half-hourly Keeper Talks, and visit the newly-opened orangutan nursery to see the babies at play.

Make sure you visit the gift shop to pick up a cuddly souvenir before we leave for home, arriving back in the local area by early to mid evening.
